Compensation: $13.00 per hour

Summary: Maintaining the property and the apartments in a clean and safe manner according to company standards.

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week

• 4-hour shift

Work Location: One location

Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of leasing office spaces, model unit, fitness center, and any additional common areas as directed

• Assist with picking up grounds and organizing community furniture daily

• Clean community bathrooms including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, and fixtures daily

• Vacuum carpeted areas and mop floors

• Clean windows and spot clean walls

• Dust furniture, walls, and decorative pieces

• Tidy offices and empty trashcans daily

• Clean baseboards, pictures, lights, and HVAC vents.

• Work with the maintenance team to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times

• Maintain an excellent customer service relationship

• Inspect exterior grounds and buildings, including breezeways daily

• Clean mailbox area

• Deliver and/or post correspondence, newsletters, and flyers

• Assist in the performance of turn events

• Turn vacant units as needed throughout the year and assist during turn

• Perform additional duties as directed

• Adhere to the company dress code

Qualifications

• No specific level of education is required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Physical Activities. Position requires employees to be able to use general cleaning equipment and tools included but not limited to: hand tools, paint equipment, ladders, cleaning chemicals, vacuums, blowers, and hoses

• Requires lifting and moving of up to 75 pounds when lifting trash bags and cleaning equipment

• Position requires frequent bending and/or stooping when cleaning and removing debris. Also requires the use of a step ladder

• Must be able to pass a background check

• Strong attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness

• Housekeeping experience is preferred
